A great match of football between these 2 teams, our Kids played  really well against a tough opponent with talented kids in their squads, and deservedly won the match!

Week 10- Harrow League-06-12-2015

Results: Brook House 10 A-BPR Tigers 10A=1-2(London B,James P)

Today we played one of our local rivals, a strong physical team that play passing football most of the time, with great players, our boys really played a very good game, hitting the post again, and squandering 3 or 4 opportunities  one on one with the opposition GK(who was great but the way),
 the boys need to defend better as a team,not leaving always the task to the usual suspects!!

Week 9-Harrow League-29-11-2015

Result: Langley Hornets 10 A- BPR Tigers 10A= 1-0

The is the second time we played LH, it is a great balanced team, with few changes since last season , plus they have two very dedicated and passionate Coaches, fair and square!

Our boys played 3/4 of the match brilliantly  creating lots of chances and hitting the post, they deserved at least a draw for the effort, however   great teams are measured by the ability to convert their chances and not making continuously simple marking mistakes at the back, furthermore some of our kids need to put more effort into the match!

On a small and heavy pitch a solid match from the boys, scoring some lovely goals and working hard against a good team!

Great match of football between these 2 teams, lots of chances created, cracking volley scored from IY from a corner , one of the best I've ever seen, great sportsmanship as always, in the end who scores more wins!

Week 4-Harrow League 25-10-2015

We were blessed with a lovely sunny day, we met today another resolute and determined team, the match was quite even, it was decided by a great long range strike by the best RR player, the Tigers squandered some clear chances, and gave away 2  soft goal,  several players  made up just the numbers not  engaging  in the physical battle nor helping the team defensively, so the outcome reflects the game.

Good match of football played well by  both teams, the Tigers managed to create lots of chances and for once this time a good conversion rates!!

Harrow League-Week 2- 11-10-2015

Result: St Josephs A- BPR Tigers=1-0

Today we played one of the most physical side in the Harrow League , it was a fascinating match, St Josephs kids played a great game fighting on every ball, creating several clear scoring chances (taking one) and defending brilliantly ,their new GK was outstanding , a real asset to them for the future.

Our boys played well,they were unfortunate in some circumstances ,hitting the post,missing clear chances ,and also they were not awarded a clear penalty from the home referee, however, it has to be said that too many or our kids did  not put the shift that St Josephs kids did,  a draw would have been a fairer result, but in football who scores wins.

Lovely sunny day, the kids played an excellent game against a tough physical team, with some great individuals, the Tigers forwards needs to be less greedy with he ball and more composed in front of the goal!

Nice day, great pitch, smashing match of football!

Today we played TFA Totteridge U10 Lions (always one of the best team around), and this coming season even stronger than last year with some new talented players in the squad;

The match could have gone either way, both teams had many chances to score goals, and played some lovely football ,TFA T passed the ball better than BPR the first half ,and their  GK was outstanding making some crucial savings, they scored a nice goal  and won the match!

BPR Tigers Runners up in the Trophy Competition!

We were blessed with lovely sunshine ,the team was allocated not to a great pitch, and played all the match there, the Tigers were outstanding throughout the tournament with some exhilarating combinations , topping their group ,and playing great football all the way in the QF and SF, in the final they created an incredible amount of chances but they did not take them,and nothing really went their way including some very poor refereeing , the game went to extra time and  they conceded a nice goal from a clever pass.

The standard of the teams involved was excellent, some really talented footballers on show and  great games to watch!

BPR U10 Tigers Winners of the AFC Walcountians Trophy Tournament 2015!

We went to a Tournament in Surrey for the first time, very well organised and right on time, we played in a group with some strong physical sides ( a bit too rough at times),however ,the Tigers played really well with confidence and technical skill, holding their ground when the had to,and deservedly won the tournament!

A very well organised Tournament, the Tigers played well at the group stage winning all their matches in good fashion,  in the semifinal we met a good team , a couple or defensive blunders and some great  saves by the opposition  GK  ended our run.

It would be even better if teams were divided in 2 competitions, Cup and Plate/Colts, in order to give a chance to less strong  teams to win a trophy!

Today a better display of football compared to last week, specifically at the back,defending and marking well, and better passing, pity we did not score into the finals despite creating several chances,nonethless the boys were the best team on the day!

Windsor Tournament -14-06-2015

A well organised Tournament, good pitches;

The Boys started well in the first 2 games, all of a sudden a 2 minutes of  complete lack of concentrations  in the 3rd game they went from 1-0 up to 3-1 down,and that put them into the Colt/Plate competition,where they played well winning the QF and SF, unfortunately another avoidable mistake at the back gave their opponent the only chance of the game  which they converted , BPR players had 6,7 clear  chances, but they did not find the net!

Flackwell Tournament 30-05-2015

Nice sunny day, good pitches overall, well organised as for the past 3 years,however, strange the groups compositions, with A teams playing in the Colt Competition instead than the trophy's one, it did not make it fair for the B,C,D teams involved!

The Tigers played  well in all the games they played finishing top of their group.
In the  Quarter Final ,the Tigers had complete control of the game, creating many chances in 10 minutes to win comfortably the game,but we did not manage to score , sometimes bad luck ,others lack of composure/sharpness,  and  a great defensive job from our opposition,with a top GK, its football!

On a sunny beautiful day, a great display of passing football by the kids,failing to score just in the final, denied by a great opposition Goalkeeper and unlucky in some cases, they won the final  by scoring 6 phenomenal penalties and our GK saving the crucial one, really deserved!

An overall good performance by the kid, starting slowly,conceding a goal in the first minute of the game, not impeccable at the back several times,but the ability to create chances compensate for that, in fact we scored 4 beautiful goals!
St Josephs team gave a physical and solid performance ,and create several chances to score more goals.

We were invited by B Hotspur to play 3 matches of 20 minutes against the best teams in the Bucks League, the kids were outstanding, playing great passing football and were on the day the best team!

Today we played WY  for the first time, they play good football , they fought all the way until the end and have some skilful individuals, plus a great coach!

The Tigers played very well in patches, creating an array of chances, but no composure or accuracy in the opposite area, despite a lot of shooting practice:(

Let's hope we improve the stats with times!

On a heavy pitch today a very good performance by the kids, they controlled the match throughout , creating  lots of chances,  scoring some beautiful goals(one a header) hit the cross bar with a header again and the post with a shot deflected from an inspired Parkfield GK, who made some outstanding savings, our opposition never gave up, credit to them, and they were rewarded, scoring 2 goals and keeping us always on the edge, we need to learn to be more composed in front of the goal.

A very good battle today against a very strong Ickenham side, it has to be said that today the Tigers did not play very well, almost of all of them, actually the best players was one of our GK(George H)who did some outstanding saves, we were second best in terms of playing passing football,and it does not happen very often( thank goodness;)funny enough after conceding an early goals with some shocking defending ,we manage to create chances to score goals,and in the second half, we scored two excellent goals with left foot from right footed players, Ickenham fought back hitting the post and scoring a beautiful lob shot from outside the area, we had several clear  chances at the end ,probably because IC Y players got tired ,but we missed them, a draw was a good results for us!

On a heavy pitch an entertaining match of football, Brook House is a quite strong physical side with some quality skilful players, they fought solidly for 50 minutes with 7 players,and in the end they got rewarded  with a victory for the effort.

The Tigers played reasonable well, matching BH physicality, but not for the entire match, they were shaky at the back several times, with a lot of confusion, and the same in Midfield and Attack, as always they created an incredible amount  of chances  and dangerous situations, but today none of the kids could find the net for a reason or another (except for the fine header from Jake on a great corner by Ruben), probably the heavy pitch made it more difficult to hit properly the ball, not our day!

On a sunny day a  wonderful match of football between these two teams,  very competitive but played completely fairly .
First half evenly matched with chances for both teams, saved by some excellent Goalkeeping,the Tigers scored a Goal with a brilliant solo effort by Ruben forcing a defensive error and precisely finding the empty spot on Goal!

Second half of the match the Tigers played better and better creating numerous chances and showing some great team passing and individual  skill, TFA Totteridge battled well and were unlucky not to score from a great free kick won from a very well orchestrated  counter attack hitting the top corner bar, soon after BPR scored a great Goal with some lovely passing football,and soon after added another one from a deflected cross (own goal), TFA's GK made some brilliant close range savings, Reece was unlucky not to score hitting the post on one rebound;

TFA is a great team and never gave up, in fact they manage to score a goal from a BPR's GK defensive error.

Well done both teams!

A great match of football played well by both teams.
The Tigers created lots of chances today, but it was not our day, at times too greedy with the ball and not composed in front of the Goal, we missed again some clear opportunities!

We conceded 3 very soft goals, with rare mistakes from our GK and defenders, one was an own goal, however, Langley Hornets in an excellent team, with very good individualities, they play passing football and the  players pass the ball to each other all the time, nice team to watch!

An all around very good  performance by the Tigers on a winter pitch but in good condition, Celtic A put up a sturdy resistance playing with 3 at the back, playing on the counter attack, their GK was excellent making numerous great saves, in the end the Boys found the target several times with some good quality goals with great passing and individual skills.
